The Bughunters were hardly an overnight sensation. In the early pioneering days they would show up anywhere for a buck. The above photo was taken before a large bed sheet with their name on it was to be placed on the tap room. That evening four people showed up, got into a fight and were thrown out the side of the building, literally taking part of the wall with them. The band sold the balloons to some kids for gas money. This was to be the first in a series of hardships that would befall the group and test the mettle of one of the counties' most beloved and enduring bands. |
